Recent years, although China has made tremendous progress in many aspects and it has made significant strides in promoting basic education, there are still hundreds of million people living in remote rural areas. Some of them are still struggling with basic livings. In those areas, people are living under proverty standard. A lot of kids cannot afford going to school. Many children in China’s rural areas, where 800 million Chinese reside, leave school at the end of primary education or during lower secondary school. With low skills and not even a lower secondary school diploma, they will most likely have relatively low levels of income, living conditions and social status. We all know that education is very important to everyone’s life. Sometimes education can change one’s life completely. Those kids need our help to fulfill their dreams of getting education.
